Yes they always stream, no settings can alter this, but if you use the

'preload technique' then you can 'switch off streaming'. This 'trick'

has gained some unfortunate popularity. As John Croteau, if I remember

correctly, said in a post some time ago, a good preloader is one the

viewer does not see as a preloader.

Marc Hoffman's earlier post gives some very good advice that should be

pondered before using a preloader.
