I can spot a couple of possible errors.


 If (loginpassword=Eval ( password&i ))


should be


 If (loginpassword eq Eval ( "password"&i ))


I guess that the variable-name is eg. 'password1'. EQ is the operand when

comparing strings.


Get URL (Eval ( url&i ), window="_blank")

Get URL (Eval ( "url"&i ), window="_blank") - same as above


The first error causes flash to evaluate (loginpassword=Eval ( password&i ) as

true every time, thus three windows are opened.

Subject:  FLASH: Can you see the problem?





Here is the code I have in a login button.  I am trying to dynamically launch

the correct url from a client login and all seems to work fine except that when

I login correctly I get the first 3 urls from my external text file opening so I

have 3 new windows open.. Can you see what might be wrong?


Also, the variable totalclients is set to 2 in the text file.

             Set Variable: "i" = i+1

       Set Variable: "clienttext" = "Incorrect Password.  Please try again."

       Play
