One option that might meet your needs better is 3DML
(http://www.flatland.com). A friend of mine is really into it and swears by
it for these sort of tasks. If I recall correctly, one of his projects is
nearly identical to what you are doing. It's not done, so I can't provide a
URL. He posts his stuff to his site at http://www.greatertech.com though.

Flashers, have you checked into 3DML? What do you think? It's limited in
interactivity, but is much more suited for navigable 3D worlds. Does anyone
know of anything in the works to produce a development tool that would allow
easy building of these kind of Flash sites? I think it would be possible,
though a helluva programming job.
