Small text has always been a problem in flash. Try making the text a text
box. Then press Ctrl+Alt+F. Call the text field "text", turn off bgs and
borders, and turn on word wrap and multiline. Arial and Tahoma are both
standard fonts so you don't need to include font outlines. By making your
text a text box your fonts will stay aliased, and in turn legible.

Hello,

We are having difficulty getting small text to display properly. Is it
possible to create 9 pt alias text in Flash 5. . We are using Arial or
Tahoma.,. Any tips?
