Subject: RE: FLASH: Flash Book?

I'm writing one now that definitely targets the experienced Flash 4 user.
Actually, it's really for intermediate Flash 5 users, but I have a couple
orientation chapters that specifically target F4 users. It also targets
those with programming experience that want to apply it to Flash.

Sorry, but it won't be out until March. (I'll be sure to push it every
chance I can at that point--but you can check back to
www.teleport.com/~phillip/newsletter for info.)

My current book (which IS out) "Sams Teach Yourself Macromedia Flash 5 in 24
Hours" is definitely targeted to the new user. I'd say... of the 24
chapters plus 3 appendixes, that 3 chapters and one appendix will still be
very valuable to those experienced in F4. Namely, chapters on Smart Clips,
Shared Libraries, and ActionScripting (the new way). It's only about $20
online--so, perhaps, it's worth it for just those chapters.
