Hiya Flashers,

Someone brought up a good point that FLash doesnt save gradients when the system
or FLash crashes.

Do you have gradients with several colors on the gradient bar that you might need to

use on future projects? A good tip is to save your gradients in the library.

As you design with gradients simply paste them into a new movie. Save this new movie
as FLA and place it in the MM library folder : Program
files/Macromedia/Flash3/Libraries. Keep adding custom gradients to it and resaving
it.
When working on a project using gradients I keep the "gradient" Fla open in the
editor.
THis way you wont loose them if the system crashes. you can also use this as a
template for certain gradient sizes in addition with the use of the "dropper" tool
and
"lock fill" tab(mostly used for "radial". If the size is right but the colors not
just change it on the gradient bar.

HTH,
