FLASH: transparency problem when converting bitmap to button

Hi,

I am having the following problems;

I needed a symbol with a transparent background which I got

by creating a path in Photoshop, exporting it to Illustrator

as a path and making a mask; then I exported this file as an

Illustrator Eps and thus ended up with a bitmap with a

transparent background.

No problems there.

But when I transformed this graphic to a button, I expected

the same result and as a matter of fact; it does show up the

right way in my .fla file, but when I export to .swf, the

buttons show up as masks; I probably am doing something

wrong, but I can't seem to find a quick way to solve this.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
