FLASH: Buggy Flash SWFs?

Is it just me or do some things not work in .swf but work on Test Movie and

if the .swf is embedded in HTML? Just had a couple quirky things, i.e. I

have a MC that plays and then part way through I do a _root.play(); - it

works in Test Movie, but not if I click on the .swf file, but when I embed

it in HTML it works...


Also, I have a textfield that is loaded from a .txt file, if it cannot find

the .txt file it displays <p align="LEFT"></p> - anyone know where that is

coming from?
