FLASH: Crashing and Freezing with Sounds in Flash 5 Mac

I can't seem to work with sounds for more than 5 minutes without Flash 5

on a Mac crashing and freezing. I just deinstalled SoundJam Plus, but I

am wondering if QuickTime 4.1.2 is a culprit.  


I've been getting volume directory corruptions on my system when I play a

CD Rom [music] e.g., while working on the computer.


Anyone else having similar troubles with Flash 5 and sounds or with QT /

SoundJam and Directory problems?
