Hi,

This from the other side of the display spectrum. I'm running
1280x1024x32bits on a 21 inch monitor. No problems with your menu bar at
all. In fact there's a lot of empty space between it and the rest of your
display (Didn't check to see how you laid out your frames. I assume that's
float space). However, your use of red text against a black background in
whatever font and point size it is, proves difficult to read sometimes. Also
the all caps thing is a bit tacky. Real pain in the top 40 lists where this
stuff just clumps together in the center of the screen. Less serious in the
menu bar, but still less than ideal.

Don't know what to suggest because you have nailed down this red and black
thing pretty much across the board (parenthetically that's been done to
death by now, IMHO).

I'm locked into the red and black as well as the industrial theme by the
client.

Possibly use the white where you have blocks of text.
Possibly just enlarge the fonts. Possibly change to a more readable font or
even just one with a heavier weight. Maybe it's not a problem at all on
low-res screens.

Other than the above, a lot of cool things here. Not sure I understand the
why of the faux-industrial motif, but it's well-done and visually effective,
just conceptually puzzling. Good use of sound as well.
