  Technical -    D+  (If this was meant for a CD ROM instead of the Web

this would be a B)


Though the technical score will possibly increase it would take massive

effort to make this technically above average. This is based on several

things.

1) Huge files (each around 1M) are way larger than needed to show

content. Optimization would result in substantually smaller files

without changing visuals at all. The monster size creates needless delay

on the Web and possibly on your server and is bound to limit satisfied

visitors to your site.

2) Not Full Screen, you opened a new window but offset all the rooms to

the right instead of taking advantage of the full screen capability of

Flash. Some of this may relate to use of bitmaps.

3) Doesn't use Load Movie to make transition from one room to the next

seemless. Also the use of Load Movie would allow a library of sound and

visual effects to be made available to later rooms allowing reduction in

file sizes.

4) Use of Input box external to Flash instead of doing it in Flash.
