FLASH: Switching sound loops between scenes

I think I have a simple question.  Give me your expertise o' great Flash

list.

I have a movie that has an intro scene with background sound "a" and a

button that has a "GOTO and PLAY"

to the next scene but I want Sound "A" to stop and then Sound "B" to start.

But when I try this I get both sounds

playing at the same time.  Please let me know what I am doing wrong.
