I think that you will find these names where registered before the
restriction came in.

Just as a point of nostalgia .. I bought z6.co.uk for no other reason but
because it was the last 2 figure domain available.

How did BT get around that with www.bt.co.uk? Are they the only 2 letter
.co.uk around? Wouldn't surprise me...
