UKNM: .cc you in the beautiful CoCos Islands

The following link takes you the FAQ of a registrar for the .cc domain. Reading their info, it looks as if this has been a well-thought out plan to make a minor TLD that they can control into the next .com.

They could just have easily picked on some place like the Falkland Islands, Andorra, or my personal favourite .cs -- the former Czechoslovakia, now no longer used.
