you can have free Web-based e-mail using your own domain via Big Mail Box
www.bigmailbox.com they work across all top level domains including .co.uk
i understand it works similar to how hotmail, et al all work with banners
appearing.

the other option is Commtouch at http://www.commtouch.com/ they don't offer
a free service with own domain name but charge for that type of service.

Above are US/Israeli based firms, for UK, doesn't the chap from
postmaster.co.uk (who is on the list) also offer this type of service????
