Subject: UKNM: Internet Auctions

Hi all!

I've been an interested sideliner monitoring discussions for a few months without putting in my 2p's worth. Well, Pandora's box now has the key hovvering above it....

I have been meeting with a number of UK Auction technology providers over the past few months to try and create tailored auctions for my clients. In the end I plumped with Yahoo! and the fruits of my labour can be seen on:

It's been a very steep learning curve - lots of legal, social and technological issues. Has anyone else had any experience with online auctions/auction technology providers? Has anyone used any auction software rather than partnering up with an auction technology provider and what are your experiences? I would really like to develop auctions further as I strongly feel that they encompass the spirit of the web and communities within it.

Any views?

Regards

Michelle Grant
