UKNM: Tele-marketing

Intersted to see if anyone else has heard of this, or even to warn a few

people.


A work colleague has just had a phone call from a lady called Rachel

representing a large motor manufacturer, who said she was PA to the sales

director (and gave the correct name) and that she had a tender document to

send. Could she please have the name of the sales people in our company, to

whom to mark it for the attention of

After receiving the information, the line went quickly dead


Anyhow to cut a short story short. We did a bit of investigating :).

This person does not represent the motor manufacturer, who has recievd

multiple calls from companies like ourselves and all with the same story.


Is this possibly how bad it has got for people trying to find out who works

where?


There is no place to hind
