There are loads of free ones at

http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Pines/3959/usenet.html - some

reliabale and some not-so. I can't vouch for a particular server,

though, as I haven't had the need for a free one for some time. A better

bet might be Supernews (http://www.supernews.com).
