Subject: UKNM: RE: specialised research

I think Fletcher (or Forrester UK, as we'll have to get used to calling them
soon . . .) charge about £500 per question included in their Internet User
Monitor (last go, ~50,000 respondents). I dunno when they're running the
next one, depends how keen you are to get hold of the data. I guess analysis
would be extra.

But if you're looking for something that specific, Leslie's right - you're
unlikely to get hold of it unless you commission it - these guys can only
really ask ~80 questions in a go, and these tend to focus on slightly more
mainstream stuff (although you might get a datapoint on online grocery
purchasers).

If you commission a few questions, and then x-tab them with the answers for
the other 80, you're going to end up with some totally excellent data, which
should answer a whole raft of stuff on your target group.

your best bet is really to pay someone like nop, fletch, jup, etc, to do
this specific research on your behalf, that way you'll have very focused
information that meets your needs 100% as it is based on your needs and
interests rather than being a sub-set of a general report into the net."
