Did they actually pay £10m into the students' pockets in exchange
for the existing business? Or is the money invested into the business,
to be used to "expand the website to cover campuses across Britain
with 50 jobs already created with more promised" as the story
mentions they plan to do? The second case doesn't strike me as
all that ludicrous a move.
