If that is true it is bloody disgusting.  Generalising like that is   

highly irresponsible, and then to sell a Yell solution off the back of   

that comment is deplorable.

I didn't see it myself, but allegedly Eddie Cheng (Yellow Pages New Media

Services Director) suggested that many agencies rip clients off by   

charging

over-exorbitant fees for building websites. I understand that the figure   

of

£100k was mentioned.


Apparently, the interviewer then asked him what clients could do about   

it,

whereapon Eddie recommended that they talk to Yellow Pages about its

services which offered 'value for money'.
