UKNM: Studio Manager

IS Solutions are looking for a Studio Manager


The requirement is for an experienced Studio Manager to manage the studio

within IS Solutions Operations Team offering Total Internet solutions. The

successful candidate will be an experienced individual who understands the

requirements of a fast moving business environment.  


The studio currently has 4 full-time designers including a creative head,

working on Internet, Intranet and Extranet projects with a number of

contract staff utilised regularly.


Responsibility for the appointment of contract personnel, permanent

recruitment, infrastructure and people management is currently shared

amongst 4 Internet Project Managers. Due to increased business and the need

to provide a better service to our clients, we require an experienced studio

manager to implement systems and standards to facilitate this change.


Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the studio manager will be

expected to move the studio onto new heights, offering additional services

and utlising new technology.


Skills

*	Experience of managing a creative team.

*	Strong people management/team building skills.

*	Knowledge of Mac systems and software.

*	Ability to liaise at all levels, internally and with clients.

*	Experience of new media, specifically Internet related.

*	Consideration for commercial issues and experience of controlling

budgets and deadlines.

*	Ability to recruit personnel and contract staff when required.

*	Ability to prioritise and make decisions quickly.

*	Good planning, scheduling and administrative skills.

Knowledge of Internet technology would be a definite advantage.
