Unless I'm very much mistaken then Mr Murdoch's Sky, Cabletel, Cable and
Wireless and BDB, etc are all planning to charge a subscription for the
services of a minimum of £10 a month. While there will be some free to
air TV channels people are going to have to buy a minimum subscription
package to get the STB at the subsidised price. So the converged Web
and TV, free access? I very much doubt it.
