re. The Ben and Ray show.

Ray:
Have you seen what they're saying at the bepaid.com site? They're slagging
off banners - Outrageous! And it's not just you - but all of them - banners
are failing the good people of this country. Rip off Britain! etc.

Ben:
Have you seen this article:
The Dumbest Dot-Com - Fortune.com
http://www.fortune.com/fortune/technology/daily/0,3467,617000615,00.html

Sounds similar to your 'revolutionary' premise, although you don't make any
claims to guarantee income from your site. But, let's face it, payments of
anything less than about £5 per month will lead to 'unsubscription' from
your service anyway. My problem with this is that to really earn any decent
cash out of it you either have to stay online a lot and click through to
other sites a lot OR you have to refer the world and their sister to the
site. Trouble is that you're hardly likely to attract the 'cream' of
customers. Of course you could go out and prove me completely wrong - good
luck.

It's just all these stats you both throw out seem to be so disparate I think
I'll.... I think I'll... not bother.

Now I do have an idea that would be groundbreaking - just need about $100m,
a good team and six months. I've been thinking about it for the last 12
months and it's a spinner - I've been expecting a coven of ultra-quiet
Californians to unleash it - but it hasn't happened as yet! But there are
always more where that came from.
