How long before portability/forwarding becomes a requirement, a la, mobile
numbers? The ISPA are a small step away from this in their current code of
practice, and consumer/regulatory pressure may push them further. Of course
the technical challenges are different. There is an interesting additional
angle on whether the ISP should care, I might quite like my virgin.net
email address. What with branding issues at stake, it might be as well to
forward them anyway even if they aren't currently a customer.
