And since when a uncontrolled monopoly on bread making means you can no
longer afford to buy the over priced bread.

Quick reality check. Open source projects only work if they have an
benevolent dictator. 'Closed source' projects lack the innovation and
flexibility to adapt to environmental dictates (they attempt to control the
environment rather than riding it like a ship on the ocean).

The best solution to this is going to be a hybrid. The knee jerk extremists
in this issue wouldn't like the world they'd get if their vision became
fulfilled but the extremists do help define where the truly liberal center
ground is.

What? Sorry? Oh this is not UK-netphilosophy. My mistake.
