Hi all,

Has anyone actually counted the number of 'new media' type exhibitions &

conferences scheduled between now and October? We've found 16 so far. This

seems to suggest the organisers are 'diluting' the relevance of some

potentially important events through an over supply. We recently attended

Intranet Expo and spent somewhere in the region of £15k for a two day

presence. At this rate I could easily blow our entire Marcomms budget in

about three months on exhibitions alone !

I guess we'll have to wait while the events market 'shakes out' and see what

remains.
