UKNM: Halifax to patent online banking

Sorry to bust in on everyone's Boo bashing but at the risk of starting

another thread, does anyone have a view, or know anything about, Halifax

bank's attempt to patent its online banking technology? Will it be "as

exciting as the credit " in the the 1960s?
