Ray Taylor asked:
>So, how many years should the culprits get? 45 million computers brought
down,
>$10 billion worth of damage, anyone care to bid? Or should it all be taken
as
>just a big joke?

But just think of all the money made... by anti-virus experts, email
filtering
facilities, premium-rate helpdesks, PRs putting out stuff saying the total
bill
was $10bn (the top end estimate - lowest so far is a bargain $2bn). It's
probably all worth a substantial part of the Phillipines' annual GDP.

Maybe the culprit should be punished with a top level, well-paid job near
the
top of a crime fighting agency, touring the world explaining to the
"experts"
just how easy it is to bring a portion of the electronic world, if not to
its
knees, certainly down with a serious cold.
