To take a slightly different tack, what gets me is that it is fairly
inevitable that the culprits will get some sort of jail sentence, when the
damage was purely financial (all of which is insurable). On the other hand
you have the Paddington rail crash in relation to which although a number of
people died and there are people who are responsible (though this will
probably never be accepted), no-one will even be charged with a criminal
offence!

Does that strike anyone else as strange?
