Are TV program makers screened for creativity and originality prior to being
hired?

Judging by the alarming number of strikingly similar offerings spewed out by
the major channels, I guess their 'new ideas filters' are working nicely.

How about a documentary about hospitals, or a program where people redesign
their gardens/home interiors? No hang on....

Please, change the record (or the video tape or whatever).
