See 'Power of Ten' a short film by Charles and Ray Eames in their
eponymous retrospective at the Design Museum. Done, I think, in the
early seventies, this film zooms from 'Outer Space' to a couple
picnicking in a park through skin cells to DNA and individual atoms.

It's done with a combination of rostrum and animation and looks
absolutely fucking brilliant. In an age when they use 'Flame' morphs to
advertise soap powders it's truly marvellous to see a simple idea
executed beautifully.
