Subject: UKNM: boo.com - helpful advice
From: Paul Gill

Hi,

I thought that I'd offer some *free* advice for boo.com - and be a bit more
constructive.

All I'm going to do is recommend a site that sells clothes + accessories
and does it rather well in a nicely-designed and well thought-out manner:

http://copyleft.net/

OK - so the catalogue range isn't great (unless you like Linux-community
t-shirts and hats) but the site is modular and looks like it could fairly
easily accommodate more product. But - the purchasing process is as quick
as you like, and the customer service is great. I've bought many t-shirts
from them over the last couple of months (I'm not a geek, but I like the
logos). If they expanded their product range, I'd buy from them more.

So... nice & simple design (quick to download, nice branding, no Flash
altho does use frames), great customer feedback, not bad delivery time
(from US) and OK prices (even with delivery). It's what we have all been
preaching - thus a good site for those charged with the redesign (it's
gotta happen!) of boo.com to look at?

Oh - and it's run part time by one or two people.

Cheers,
