Inside dotcoms...
UK-Netmarketing Weekly Round-up - June 9, 2000

The BBC2 series, 'Inside Dotcoms' aired last week. For once a TV programme featuring dotcoms wasn't met with the usual hostility. The fact that the series actually looked behind the scenes rather than falling for tabloid guff, may have had something to do with it.

UK-Netmarketing Weekly Round-up - May 26, 2000

Everyone, new media or not, knows about Boo.com and the inevitable deluge of 'bubble-bursting' stories continued. Unfortunately, YesTV's IPO postponement and the liquidation of Netimperative at the start of the week added fuel to the fire.

UK-Netmarketing Weekly Round-up - May 19, 2000

Considering the earlier criticism of pretty much everything that Boo.com did, there were few hints of 'I told you so' amongst the posts to the list this week. Perhaps everyone thought it bad form to speak ill of the recently liquidated, particularly when a number have been through or know people who have experienced the painful proceedings themselves.

UK-Netmarketing Weekly Round-up - March 31, 2000

A few weeks ago adding a '.com' to the end of your business' name ensured a valuation on the way up and excited whispers about e-commerce plans around the city.
