Writing for the Web

The writing for the web training is run by Webcredible's Head of Usability, Lisa Halabi. Lisa is an accomplished usability specialist and founding member of the Usability Professionals Association UK chapter. With almost 10 years usability experience, she's incredibly passionate about usability, talking to anyone she can about it. She additionally holds a Masters degree in Human Computer Interaction.

During the one-day interactive course you will:

* Learn how to write effective online content for your website
* Learn specific, practical techniques for evaluating and improving existing content on your website
* Find out how to write search engine optimised content
* Receive wide-ranging sets of practical guidelines and advice
* Discover how users read the content on your website
* Practice and refine your new knowledge in sets of practical exercises throughout the day
* Be shown how to continue your learning after the writing for the web training is finished

You'll also receive a free 80-page colour handbook that contains all tutorials.

We usually run our writing for the web training the day before our web usability training1 and two days before our web accessibility training2 course, so you may wish to come on two or three courses.
