Join us at The Iron Yard with our Rails Instructor, Rob Isenberg, to learn the basics of Ruby on Rails and learn more about our part-time and full-time courses.
This course assumes no previous knowledge of Ruby on Rails or any other programming language. The first half of the course will be a short lecture on the basics of Ruby syntax and logic, followed by creating Hangman using Ruby. With that context, we'll dive into the practical basics, including:
Basic Ruby syntax
Basic program design
Interactive terminal applications
Logic of writing software
Choosing data structures
