Of course they do..

In a single Flash file you do not need to dynamically recreate each button, you
only need to update the text.
There are efficiencies and control gained by having everything in a single SWF
With a single file whether you use Generator, Load Variables or include the text
(non dynamically) -- you do not have to duplicate the overhead of a new Flash
file, you have control over the loading order, you do not have to load (save)
multiple copies of the button shape or the animation.
The animation should be a separate MC controlled by the button,
