FLASH: problem: pngs appear very dark

anyone ever import a png into flash and find that it turns out really dark?


any workarounds?


i'm using .png because i need its alpha channel to achieve transparent areas

of a bitmapped object in flash. on a mac, a pict works without problems.


would appreciate thoughts/experiences with this problem...
