Hi Steven,


  The only problem with Flash 2 was that it didn't import the

transparency with Gifs, Flash 3 does. You can also import PNGS with

their alpha channels intact. If there is no alpha channel by first

breaking apart a bitmap it can have any portion of it made transparent

quite easily by use of the magic wand, drawing tools and/or the eraser.
