RE: jpg, bmp to vector image converter?

How do file sizes compare when you trace a bitmap within Flash vs. leaving

it raster?  I've got a presentation that's using a bunch of static jpegs and

have considered tracing them so they will scale better.  Anyone have

experience with this?  Advantages/disadvantages?  Thanks.
