the 3-D objects were all created within flash itself using the
drawing tools provided. the movie clips used for the rollovers
were illustrated frame by frame. To the best of my knowledge,
at the time matinee was created, there was not a quick solution
for importing vector based 3-D animations.
A 3-D app like infin-D or reaydream created the original sequence.
and this was used as a template for the frame by frame illustrations.
