Ahhhhhhhh, full screen or splash screen. Still doable via JS (as I
recall) in a separate browser window, yes.

It's the only reasonably robust way. I can't imagine a scenario where a
user would have the Flash plugin and *not* have JS activated, frankly,
so I don't think it's a huge concern.
You could always put up a noscript web page directing JS-disabled users
what to do to see the presentation; theoretically only those who did not
have JS for some reason would see that part of your site. Everyone else
would see the full-screen popup.
