Hi Dave and all,
Just to clarify. Import the original (even if it is jpg) directly into
Flash. But if you modify or have to save for future processing do NOT
save as a jpg even if the original was a .jpg. Save it as a lossless
version such as bmp, tif or pict file. JPEG is only for the final output
to the Web (or other distribution).
The JPEG Quality is a value between 1 and 100 and the best value for a
particular pix can be determine by experience or trial & error, weighing
the byte size verses the pix Quality. The default is 50.
