FLASH: A (hopefully) simple question

Hello all!


I'm doing a password protected section of a site (all in Flash).  That's not

the problem.  The client wants a "... keypad with a number display above it

like you see in spy movies"(!).  That's the problem.  OK.  I've got the pad

built and it beeps like it should, and the keys depress like they should and

I've got the number display above the keys...... now how do I get the keys to

add numbers to the display?!?!  i.e.: click on the "3" number and a "3" appears

in the window; click on the "1" and a "1" appears after the "3"; click on the

"9" and a "9" appears after the "31"; etc.  If anyone has any ideas or has

knowledge of where to find an example.... I'm all eyes.
