FLASH: Edit/Save/Store Variable in SWF with updating ???

Is it possible to create a text field variable, make this editable and then

store the edited info in a referenced text field variable in uploaded SWF

file on the web ??


The idea:


Single swf file with a number of editable text fields = variables


Text1, Text 2 etc etc.


With password control, the contents of Text 1, Text 2 could be edited LIVE

on the web and the edited text(s) could be stored in a new bunch of

variables


StoredText1, StoredText2, etc etc.


which are then shown to the visitors.



Am I dreaming about the impossible ?? (Hoping for this to be a possible

workaround to the Mac IE 4.5 Load Ext Text problem, as I have to provide

support IE 4.5)
