Hi Jason and all.
If-Frame-is-Loaded (or Wait-for-Frame) is not a "Wait Until the Frame
is Loaded routine", it is a one time check to see if a Frame has been
loaded, if not you just proceed and no action is taken, it doesn't wait
for the frame to be loaded and it doesn't implemement the
If-Frame-is-Loaded (or Wait-for-Frame) Action(s).
If the target frame (If-Frame-is-Loaded in Flash 3 or Extra Frames in
Flash 2) where you are testing to see if it is loaded is loaded then the
Action(s) in the If-Frame-is-Loaded are executed or in Flash 2 the Goto
Action is performed.
You most likely want to create a Wait-for-Frame loop.
See my Demo movie http://www.crownmall.com/flash/Graphics/Wait-For.htm
and check out the other Articles about this under Optimization >
Wait-for-Frame at the Flash Tech Resource.
