Don't get me wrong,
but somethings just shouldn't be done in flash. I've always found that
e-commerce flash sites, are annoying, hard to navigate, slow, and
distracting. I don't need something to slowly fade in, if its gonna take an
additional 5 seconds of my time. There are other ways of making things
attractive and aetheticly pleasing.

however,
i do understand what their attempt was. They are trying to bring the joy of
shopping at the mall to the web and i commend them for it.

At this time, with the bandwidth's being what they are, and the web still in
its infancy, flash as a technology doesn't add anything to the ecommerce
website.

I love flash, but at this time we only recommend it to clients looking for a
company site, a marketing commercial or sales presentaion, or if it truly
has a functionality purpose like teh site for the teh school for blind
children.

my 2 cents,

-sohrab
