Hi Tom,

FLAs created on Macs should play on Windows and vice versa.
However because of the different ways files are handled in the different
platforms different techniques are needed.

Lets start with one file FlyingFonts and see if we can start
eliminating possibilities.

Potential problems:

Upload - Know good
Download -
Decompression -
Inport technique -
Flash program -

The file sizes for the Zip and the FLA before adding a resource fork:

FlyingText.zip - Exact file size 15648
FlyingText2.FLA - Exact file size 47616

These are the proper file sizes on the server and properly decompressed
(without resource forks added). You must get the exact file size not

If at any time these file sizes vary then that is where your problem
If the file size that you are trying to open is 47616 then it is most
likely a problem with your import technique or your Flash installation.

If your FlyingText2.FLA is exactly 47616 upload the file to
our FC anonymous FTP site so we can verify the file is not corrupted and
will load without crashing into PCs and Macs.
