FLASH: Backgrounds

Hello-

Another question!

I know how to make the background a different color through picking a color 

from the swatches...but what about if I want to have a bitmap in the 

background of all the frames?  Or a design I drew in Flash?  Can this be done 

so it doesn't really enlarge the file size?!  Thank you!
