FLASH: Fading does not work on preview

Hello everyone,

I'm working on a project right now where a graphic symbol should fade as it

passes through.

Somehow this is not happening.  I can see this on the screen but when I

preview it in flash as well as view it on a web page it does not fade like

it does on the editing screen.

The font is called _typewriter.  

I have FLASH 4 by the way.
